The streets of Melville are about to get fun again with some drop the mic action as Karaoke Kong launches next week.
The bar is set to launch on Tuesday 22nd November from 6pm and is touted to reinvent Joburg’s karaoke bar experience by offering guests stylishly crafted and funky décor, premium service, delicious signature cocktails and premium bar food whilst being an affordable Karaoke venue.
According to the owners, Ewoudt Cloete and Herman Visser, their vision is for Karaoke Kong to bring culture and sophistication back to one of Jozi's most beloved party streets.
“Karaoke is always more fun when shared with friends. At Karaoke Kong, we offer the perfect venue to create new memories in a relaxed, fun and vibey environment,” said Cloete.
Karaoke is enormous fun, and across the world, singing on stage has become a favourite pastime that brings thousands of people together every week.
Amateur singers with dreams of becoming future pop idols can choose from over 50 000 songs, including golden oldies and current hits, updated weekly with new tracks.
This trendy Melville bar will make it possible for music lovers to enjoy the perks of singing in front of a crowd every Wednesday to Sunday.
The singing stage is open to everyone, and the bar’s specialist cocktails, drinks and premium bar food will ensure your vocal cords have the energy to tackle any song choice.
Karaoke Kong’s menu includes spring rolls, sticky ribs, hot wings and extra cheesy pizza. There’s also an impressive cocktail menu that serves classics like Mojitos or Long Island Iced Teas.
If you’re planning your next party or team-building event, the venue can be reserved and will take your karaoke skills to the next level.
