With Valentine’s Day around the corner Audette Vengetas shares recipes for a romantic dinner at home with the POST:
*Strawberry Frozen Yoghurt
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
Plain yoghurt
500g strawberries
6 bananas, frozen
Method
Blend the yoghurt and frozen bananas, then place in a bowl and freeze for an hour. Do the same with the berries.
Remove from the freezer, mix the two and freeze once more until set.
*Chocolate-dipped cherries
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
200g dark chocolate
200g milk chocolate
250g fresh cherries
Method
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Add the milk chocolate to a double boiler and melt. Once melted, remove from the heat and add the dark chocolate and stir.
Wash and dry the cherries with a paper towel.
Dip the cherries in chocolate and place over the lined baking tray.
Allow to cool at room temperature.
