As South Africans continue to embrace Heritage Month with different activations, award-winning musician Makhadzi has shared a new music offering titled “We Are One”, shining a spotlight on unity.
With this vibrant song she calls on her music fans to immerse themselves in the message of togetherness and compassion.
The performer explained on social media that they were motivated to release more upbeat music after the tremendous success of their joint project, “Jealous Down”, featuring Dr Skarothat.
“Aa wehh! Happy Heritage Day! In celebration of this special occasion, I’m excited to share my new single, ‘We Are One’, from my upcoming album, ‘Miracle Child’. The “Ghanama” hitmaker has been on a winning streak in her career, having recently claimed Dance Artist of the Year and the International Achievement Award at the Basadi In Music Awards.
In August, she was among a list of women that were spotlighted and honoured by The Official Music Charts for dedication to their craft.
From taxi ranks to taking over global stages, Makhadzi’s journey has been a beacon of light, proving that with determination and hard work, dreams become a reality.
Her numerous award victories, including SAMA, Metro FM Music, Mzansi Viewers’ Choice, Nickelodeon Kids Choice, and AFRIMA trophies, are a testament to her hard work.
