The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival, one of South Africa’s acclaimed premier events, has announced that it is currently accepting applications from food trucks and food vendors to participate in the renowned festival.
It explained that this is an amazing chance for companies in the hospitality sector to highlight their distinctive products during one of the most popular weekend gatherings in SA.
To be considered for a spot in this festival, applicants must have outstanding presentation skills, previous festival experience, and a unique, grab-and-go dish that provides a satisfying culinary experience.
Applications for food carts or mobile bars that sell tobacco goods, water, beer, and soft drinks will not be accepted.
The event will proceed rain or shine, with all fees being non-refundable, and strict and non-negotiable Health & Safety regulations must be adhered to, including all deadlines.
The deadline for applications is July 17 and acceptance notifications must be received by August 10.

On this big weekend, the event is known for uniting people of all cultures and backgrounds through the delight of music, art, fashion, and great food will be celebrating 30 years of creative freedom in SA.
American singer Janet Jackson will be performing on Saturday, along with some of the best local performers, such as Thandiswa Mazwai, G Force, Boom Shaka, Khuli Chana, Yanga, Okmalumkoolkat, Robot Boii, Reason, Maggz, Touchline, Cassper Nyovest, Morafe, and Focalistic.
Festival attendees can anticipate fantastic performances by globally recognised Jill Scott on Sunday, along with local favourites like the Soweto Gospel Choir, Sjava, The Maestro, Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, Jesse Clegg, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Zolani Mahola, and Mzwakhe Mbuli SNR.
The event will take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Johannesburg, on September 21 and 22.
