It has been confirmed: South Africa is one of the countries with the most beautiful people in the world.

In a new study conducted by online coupon platform Wethrift, South Africa made it to the top ten list of the countries with the most beautiful people.

The research was based on the list of titleholders from major international beauty pageants, including runners-up, to determine which countries have the highest beauty scores.

With a beauty score of 41, Mzansi secured the number ten spot with seven title holders, and five and ten first and second runners-up, respectively.

Number nine is Puerto Rico, with a beauty score of 47, 12 title holders, three first runners- up and five second runner-ups.

Brazil is number eight with a beauty score of 50 and seven title holders, 12 first runner- ups and five second runner-ups.

Australia is number seven with 52 as its beauty score, eight title holders, and nine and 10 first and second runner ups, respectively.

Colombia has a beauty score of 54, five title holders, 15 first runners-up and nine second runner-ups, making it number six on the list.

At number five is India, with a beauty score of 58, twelve title holders, and eight and six first and second runners-up, respectively.

The United Kingdom is at number four with a beauty score of 62, eight title holders, and 13 and 12 first and second-runners-up, respectively.

At number three is the Philippines, with a beauty score of 79, 16 title holders, 12 first runner- ups and seven second runners-up.

Sitting comfortably at number two is the United States with a beauty score of 125, 18 title holders, 28 first runners-up and 15 second runners-up.

Leading the pack is Venezuela with a beauty score of 127, 25 title holders, 17 first runner ups and 18 second runners-up.
