As AmaZulu gears up to square off against Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday, striker Etiosa Ighodaro says ‘Usuthu’ will claim all three points against the Soweto giants.

‘Usuthu’ started their Betway Premiership campaign with a disappointing 2-1 loss to Polokwane City last Saturday and are eager to claim their first win in the premiership.

However, they have put their disappointing result behind them and striker Etiosa Ighodaro has boldly claimed that the KwaZulu Natal-based outfit will claim all three points against the high-flying Chiefs.

“Although we are disappointed with the way the game ended, we did play well. We are confident that in our next game, we will take maximum points.

“We have to keep on working and grinding results and see how far we can go this season, but as I said, I’m happy to be here and I’m looking forward to contributing to the success of the club,"

The Nigerian striker, who scored a beautiful header against his side's loss to City on Saturday, added, that he wants to score more goals this season as AmaZulu look to redeem themselves after a poor campaign last season.

“My goal this season is to score more than I did last campaign. I need to work hard to be able to help the team and score goals. To score in the first game already boosted my confidence, I’m really happy. The work is not done yet, there are a lot of games to play.”

However, it will be easy as the Soweto giants will be looking to claim their second win against of the season.
