Manchester United will go into this week’s Europa League action hoping to seal a place in the last 16 of the competition.

Standing in Ruben Amorim and United’s way is Romanian giants FCBS, and former Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana. Victory will secure the Red Devil’s passage to the last 16, while defeat might leave then needing to navigate their way through the knockout-phase play-off round.

For FCBS, Ngezana has been a key player since completing his move from Chiefs to Romania two years ago.

For Ngezana, who has struggled with injuries throughout the season, the game against the English giants is an opportunity to showcase his talent to the rest of the world.

“For me, it’s a dream come true, playing against the team that I support. Manchester, if you can see like it’s rich in history, and just playing against them, I feel like for me, it’s a dream come true, because it’s a team that I grew up supporting in the EPL,” the Bafana star was quoted by iDiskiTimes earlier this week.

“So, I mean, I felt like everything, it’s coming together right now at this moment. And I can’t wait! I can’t wait, because every training session, every training session, every chance that I get it, every workout that I do, I always think about Manchester.”

Amorim’s United have been a bit of an enigma this season. Wins on the road against Manchester City and Arsenal, and a draw at Anfield, have been followed by home losses to Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle.

However, in the Europa League, they are still undefeated. Despite this, the Romanian champions will be confident they can get something out of the game, and Ngezana will be hoping to feature against the team he supported as a boy.
