The Springboks are keeping their feet on the ground after a brilliant to their Rugby Championship campaign.

The men in green and gold have picked up a maximum 10 points from their two games against the Wallabies, and will be looking to back that up when they take on the All Blacks in Johannesburg in two weeks time.

Last week, the Boks secured a convincing 33-7 win in Brisbane, and followed that up with a 30-12 victory in wet and muddy conditions in Perth on Saturday.

Despite the impressive results on the road, the world champions are not getting ahead of themselves as they prepare to face an improving All Blacks outfit.

After suffering a shock defeat to Argentina in Wellington last week, the mighty men in black rebounded brilliantly and hammered the same opponents in Auckland on Saturday, before the Boks played their second game of the Rugby Championship.

“We’ll keep our feet on the ground and continue working hard in the weeks leading up to the games against New Zealand in South Africa, which is going to be massive,” Kolbe said after their clash against the Wallabies on Saturday.

The two clashes — in Johannesburg and Cape Town — have been sold out for months, and will see the world champions take on their biggest rivals in packed stadium, something that the Springboks are looking forward to.

But for now, the Boks are in a good place after achieving the rare feat of back-to-back wins Down Under.

“As coach Rassie [Erasmus] said after the game, we haven’t done this for years, and we are definitely in a good position. But we won’t just leave it at that and be complacent because we know the next two games are going to be massive.

“Games between the All Blacks and South Africa are always rival matches, and for us is just to make sure we control the things we can control and continue to work hard throughout the week.
