After the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) were rocked by the departure of advocate Dali Mpofu, the party’s leader, Julius Malema posted a cryptic statement eluding that more in the party were going to leave.

“Only two more of your favourites remain, and the list will be finalised. They sing beautifully and are always willing to pose for pictures and sign roll calls, but remember, their souls are long gone,” Malema posted on X (Twitter).

Malema added that to avoid potential harm, it is critical to follow the leadership’s direction. He stated that the party is still standing and is not going anywhere under a criminal syndicate.

One member of the EFF that is known for ‘singing beautifully’ is Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, who South Africans said Malema took a side shot at with his statement.

“Politics aside. I don’t like the way Dr Ndlozi is being repeatedly abused and bullied,” an X user posted. She added that Malema sees Ndlozi as competition.

“He feels envy. Guy’s got looks, voice, brains and charisma. Julius has only got charisma. He constantly oppresses Ndlozi so he won’t realise his potential or get platform. Hence Ndlozi has become less confident over the years.”

“First, you went after Ndlozi’s wife, and now this? There’s only so much a person can take. Ndlozi needs to gather whatever dignity he has left and walk away sana,” another individual commented.

Another person on the microblogging platform chimed in, saying that Ndlozi is continually humiliated, mistreated, and taken lightly, yet he remains modest.

As the conversation continues, Ndlozi appears resolute in his position in the party. The politician recently posted himself at an EFF event with the caption: “Unequivocally.”
