Durban police have recovered a consignment of cocaine at the Durban Harbour on Monday afternoon.
The crime scene is active.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Nethsuinda said the container was transported to a warehouse in Bluff, south of Durban, where the discovery was made.
He said the value of the drugs would be determined shortly.
It is unclear at this stage if there have been any arrests.
This is a developing story and more information would be added once received.
