From getting recognised globally and also getting international Emmy nominations consecutively, popular South African actress Thuso Mbedu keeps making waves at the global stage.

Mbedu’s took another big stride in her career as she walked on stage at the L'Oréal Paris fashion show this week. Mbedu made her debut walk at the L'Oréal Paris fashion show last October.

Mbedu took to Instagram to share some of the highlights of the show, with a similar caption of the L'Oréal Paris affirmation, “Walk your worth, own your shine”.

Many of Mbedu’s followers flocked the comments and shared how proud they are of her.

Instagram user @hayley_spamac commented, “The way I screamed when I saw you walk down the runway, so proud of you. You are a role model to SA”

Instagram user @ jeanettemagongoa commented, “You are beautiful girl and you put us on the map”

This year’s show was titled Le Défilé, which was held at the Place de l'Opéra. This year’s fashion show was all about championing the democratisation of fashion and beauty.

The live show was broadcast live on Instagram for many fans to watch.

Mbedu, who is also the L'Oréal Paris ambassador wore a stunning gold dress which was made by Raisa Vanessa a fashion brand which was created By twin sisters Raisa & Vanessa Sason In 2011 with the intention of developing a modern and empowering brand for women.

The runway also had many influential and iconic names in the entertainment industry as well as the fashion industry.

Kendall Jenner, Camilla Cabello, Viola Davis are one of the celebrities who walked at this year’s runway.

Last year’s dazzling show, award winning media personality Bonang Matheba also walked last year’s show while Miss SA 2023, Natasha Joubert was a part of the audience as a guest.
