Hollywood families often keep their private traditions behind closed doors, but Rumer Willis has let fans in, revealing an unusual bonding tradition she shares with her siblings.

In a recent episode of the “What in the Winkler” podcast, Willis shared with host Stacey Winkler and her daughter Zoe Winkler that she still takes baths with her sisters, Scout and Tallulah Willis.

The actress, who comes from a close-knit family, defended her unique bonding ritual, saying it’s “not weird”. Growing up in the Willis household, the 36-year-old explained, was all about embracing physical affection and closeness.

She fondly recalled sharing baths with her sisters as kids and how the tradition has continued into adulthood. While some might find it unusual, Rumer sees it as normal.

“We all still take baths together, my sisters and I, and that’s just the kind of house that I grew up in. People might think that it’s crazy and weird, but I don’t,” said Willis.

During the interview, Willis also opened up about her thoughts on co-sleeping with kids.

She shared that she still sleeps in the same bed with her mother and hopes her toddler daughter, Louetta, will still sleep in her bed when she is older.

“I co-sleep with Louetta and have not spent a night away from her since she was born. Honestly, I hope Lou will still sleep in bed with me when she’s my age,” she said.

Willis emphasised that it’s not about creating a lifelong habit but about cherishing the special moments of closeness and connection with loved ones.

The other two sisters, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, are also part of the close-knit family. Scout, 33 years old, is an actress and musician, while Tallulah, 31, is also an actress.

Their parents, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, are both Hollywood legends in their own right. While her mother is still active in the industry, recently winning a Golden Globe Award for her role in “The Substance”, their father has been dealing with health challenges.

In 2022, he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a disease that causes behavioural changes as well as speech difficulties. This led to his retirement from acting.

Despite his health struggles, the Willis family remains close-knit, and Rumer's experiences with physical affection and closeness are a testament to the strong bond they share.
