Nicki Minaj has come under fire after making her new registered sex offender boyfriend Kenneth “Zoo” Petty IG official on Monday.
The Barbz have been pleading with their queen to explain why she is dating Petty following details of his attempted rape of 16-year-old girl at age 15, which led to him serving time and on landing sex offender list.
Following the outrage, the "Good Form" rapper replied on a fan that commented on a picture of her and Petty saying, "He was 15, she was 16 ... in a relationship. But go awf, internet. y'all can't run my life. Y'all can't even run y'all own life. Thank you boo."
The Hollywood Life has also reported that Petty has been arrested 12 times and while most the arrests are unknown they uncovered that some of his charges including:
- operating an unlicensed vehicle
- failure to stop at a stop sign
- operating a vehicle while license is suspended or revoked
- attempted first-degree rape of a 16-year-old-girl for which he spent 18-54 months in prison.
While The Blast reports that he was involved in the fatal shooting of a man named Lamont Robinson.
Petty pleaded guilty in March 2006 after cutting a deal which reduced the charge from second-degree murder to manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, of which he served seven.
