DURBAN – Award-winning news anchor, broadcaster, author and moderator Redi Tlhabi and former president Jacob Zuma’s daughter Dudu Zuma-Sambudla have been embroiled in a Twitter war since Saturday night after Tlhabi alleged, in a video, that Zuma was a misogynist and sexist, following her past encounters with him.
In response to the video content, Zuma-Sambudla argued that Tlhabi visited her father in his Forest Town home in Joburg, where Zuma-Sambudla allegedly opened the door for Tlhabi. She also claimed Tlhabi followed Zuma to Genendendal in Cape Town. Zuma-Sambudla threatened to share more details about Tlhabi’s encounters with her dad.
The Same Politician You Used To Visit In His Forest Town Home…??? I Know Cause I Used To Open The Door For You…And It Didn’t End There, You Followed This Same Politician To Genendendal In CPT…Qhubeka And I’ll Open The Files…You Are Just Bitter!!! https://t.co/fEPp8OQkQT

Tlhabi denied going to Zuma’s Forest Town house and Cape Town since former president Thabo Mbeki's presidency. She also accused the former president’s daughter of being vile and dishonest “just like her father”.
Tlhabi did admit to going to one of Zuma’s homes, Dumbarton Residence, which was his official residence as deputy president where she interviewed him about being the Burundi mediator. According to Tlhabi, Zuma saw the opportunity to be “creepy and predatory”.
As for me, I went to Dumberton Residence, his OFFICIAL residence as DP to interview him as Burundi mediator. But like you, he sees professional settings as opportunity to be creepy. He became creepy & predatory. That's who your father is. You mother knew him well. YOU deserve him

These are some of the comments from Twitter users in reaction to the online spat:
Why you kept quite for all these years when you suffered at the hands of JZ? You're known to be outspoken, why you kept silent and wrote nothing about this on your book? Or you find it fit for a Twitter attack?
Perhaps if the evidence was released and proven, then Redi would need to explain herself, until then it's just an accusation without evidence.
