Cape Town –DJ Khaled has officially become an Airbnb Host, set to provide the ultimate sneakerhead experience of sleeping surrounded by more than10 000 pairs of sneakers in a recreation of his iconic (and viral) sneaker closet, in a grand Miami home.
A self-proclaimed “sneakerhead from birth”, DJ Khaled is inviting fans to an exclusive stay inside a recreation of his sneaker closet.
“Sneakers are an essential part of hip hop culture and collecting them is an art – just like creating music,” said DJ Khaled.
”We bring the same passion and energy to the shoe game as we do the studio.
“That's why we’re excited to share our sneaker kingdom with fans and give them a chance to walk in our shoes, literally.”
Fans can look forward to a tour of the rapper and producers’ prized sneaker collection and a private shopping session at the iconic Miami’s 305 Kicks store before enjoying a dinner in DJ Khaled’s own restaurant, The Licking.
They’ll also take home an autographed pair of Air Jordan 5s from his “We The Best” collection before their public release.
Guests can request to book the exclusive stay from Tuesday, November 29 at 6pm GMT, for $12 a night – a nod to his shoe size.
There are two individual bookings available, on December 5 and on December 6, and each booking is suitable for up to a maximum of two guests.
This stay’s rules require following applicable local rules and guidelines as well as Airbnb’s Covid-19 Safety Practices.
Bookings start Tuesday, November 29 at 6 pm GMT via airbnb.com/wethebest. Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from Miami.
