Excitement has reached a peak for the 2025 Two Oceans Marathon with the opening of the event expo.

The expo is being held at the DHL Stadium in Fritz Sonnenberg Road in Green Point and opened on Wednesday.

The expo is open Thursday and Friday from 10am to 8pm.

It will be open to all on Saturday, from 9am to 3pm, however, only Half Marathon runners may collect their Race Packs on this day.

Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon or MiWayLife Two Oceans Marathon Trail entrants are required to collect their race number and race pack at the expo and may not collect these once registration closes.

Documents required for collecting a race pack on behalf of another runner:

  • Original ID or driver’s licence.
  • Confirmation email (containing the race number) of the runner on whose behalf you are collecting. This confirmation email can be presented in hard copy or digitally, for example, on your phone.
  • A digital or hard copy of the ID or driver’s licence of the runner on whose behalf you are collecting at Expo.

Those collecting on behalf of a group or team must ensure that each runner receives his/her correct race number. This is vital in order to avoid issues in case of an emergency, or disciplinary measures after the race.

Last year, the Two Oceans Marathon Expo, South Africa’s largest running-related expo attracted 89 000 visitors over three-and-a-half days.

“Whether or not you’re participating in the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon 2025 or at the Expo to collect your race pack or not, you’re welcome to attend the biggest running-related exhibition Cape Town has to offer at DHL Stadium, Green Point.

“Find all your sport, outdoor, adventure and running-related brands, products, gear, shoes, tech, tours, equipment and innovators in one vibey destination,” organisers said.

Those part of the Two Oceans Marathon Blue Number Club (BNC), can catch up with running friends and acquaintances at the dedicated BNC Lounge.
